Cannabidiol – Next Skin Miracle?

Published

cannabidiol

Cannabis products are not just getting popular in North America; these are getting the same hype in many regions of Asia, especially in China, if not more. You can get cannabis-infused topicals for yourself that contain the non-psychoactive compound, cannabidiol. They are getting quite the attention in the U.S. The trend is getting popularity across the globe.

However, they are not going to be commercially available in Canada as there is a regulation for all cannabinoids there. There are several properties that make cannabis topicals highly beneficial for your skin. The anti-inflammatory properties make the skin look younger, fresher, and fights off the pollutants and UV ray damage from the sun.

Moreover, the antioxidants reduce fine lines and wrinkles, giving you a glowing look. That does not just stop here. The unique properties are what makes these products popular

Increasing demand of cannabidiol topicals

One of the things that make these topicals stand out from the rest of the topicals infused with other compounds available in the market is its ability to heal certain conditions.

These conditions vary from visible and displeasing burns on skins to minute pimples and acne scars. High-end retailers are also embracing the new product. It is safe to say that cannabidiol is the emerging active ingredient in the beauty industry as well.

It is no surprise that the largest continent of the world population wise is also getting influenced by the hype. Women in China are realizing the importance of cannabis in rejuvenating their skin and so are purchasing more cannabis topicals in the market.

It is an interesting point to note that China has a long term connection with hemp and cannabis in earlier centuries. That does not mean there is no room for cannabis in the beauty industry.

Skin care companies are targeting for huge profits as they see the potential that cannabis has in making their skin products go viral in the country. The globally famous Korean skincare is also equally embracing the new trend.

South Korea and China are taking the lead in Asia

The world’s biggest economic market and the world’s most famous country for its skincare are getting frenzy about the product. It points to the fact that there will be a significant share of cannabis beauty products in the global cannabis market. Ironically, China has made cannabis illegal for around four decades due to psychoactive properties.

At the same time, it is the biggest producer of hemp with less than 0.3 percent of its psychoactive ingredient. This fact shows that China is nowhere going dormant in the cannabis topicals market.

There is an expectation that there would be around twenty tons of cannabis oil in 2019. Most of it is for adding it to beauty products. There will be certainly extraction and processing on bigger scales. The Chinese market for CBD products can be of worth around 15 billion dollars.

The main driving force behind the upsurge in the market is the beauty industry.
This pattern is a potential predictor of upcoming patterns in Canada for the next year.
